Founder John Yates, together with daughter, Chelsea and business partner Dan Dill, has an undying passion for customer service and aviation. Working together, they always provide our customers the ultimate in turbine aircraft acquisition, sales and consultation services.
John D. Yates
John is the President of
The Yates Group, LLC. As a pilot with
over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry and a Master’s Degree in
Engineering from The University of Oklahoma, John always ensures our clients
acquire the correct aircraft or aircraft buyer for their needs.
John is primarily
involved with aircraft sales and acquisitions and handles all aspects of each
transaction from the detailed aircraft research and coordination of inspection
and maintenance processes to the execution of a smooth close.
John uses his engineering
and technical background to guide our clients to choose the correct aircraft
for their needs, with assurance that that aircraft is in excellent condition
and placed into an operation in a way that suits each client’s requirements.
John maintains his well
established relationships with trusted leaders in the extensive dealer/broker
network in the U.S. and engages international strategic alliances to provide
our clients the best possible aviation solutions.
Dan Dill
Dan is a corporate pilot with over 25,000 hours of time under his belt. He is a recipient of the rare and highest FAA recognition, the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. This award recognizes pilots who have practiced safe flight operations continously for 50 or more years.
Dan has been involved in The Yates Group for some eight years. Prior to joining us, Dan was a Chief Pilot of a large charter company.
Dan brings many attributes to the company, including his very warm personality coupled with incredible knowledge and experience in the industry.
Chelsea Yates
Chelsea loves all aspects
of being an aviation consultant. She is
the spice of the company and adds a breath of sunshine to all interactions.
Her day-to-day activities
center primarily on sales and acquisitions.
Chelsea is devoted to providing
superb customer service and believes that buying and selling aircraft should be
a fun and rewarding experience.
Chelsea studied Business
at Colorado State University.
